Soft & Gooey Cinnamon Rolls (Bakery-Style)

1️⃣ Activate the Yeast

In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
Let sit for 10 minutes until foamy.

2️⃣ Make the Dough

Add egg, remaining sugar, melted butter, salt, and vanilla.
Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.

3️⃣ Knead & Rise

Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1–1½ hours, until doubled.

4️⃣ Roll & Fill

Roll dough into a rectangle.
Spread butter evenly, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.

5️⃣ Shape the Rolls

Roll tightly into a log.
Cut into 9–12 rolls and place in a greased baking dish.

6️⃣ Second Rise

Cover and let rise again for 25–30 minutes.

7️⃣ Bake

Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 25–30 minutes, until lightly golden.

8️⃣ Make the Frosting

Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

9️⃣ Frost & Serve
